A Compare/Contrast Study’ – Saul vs David

This study explores the contrasting lives of Saul and David, highlighting their character, choices, and relationship with God. Saul’s downfall was rooted in selfishness, fear, and disobedience, while David, though imperfect, pursued God’s will with a heart of repentance and humility. Both men were tested, yet David’s alignment with God made him ‘a man after God’s own heart.’

We’ll reflect on how character, obedience, and true repentance define our relationship with God, showing how David’s faithfulness led to lasting success, while Saul’s failure to repent cost him everything.
